NETDOC TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NetDoc application, https://netdoc.app, and related services that reference these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).

The Services are operated by Bridgeway Communications LLC, located in Montgomery County, Texas, United States (“Company,” “NetDoc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

You can contact us at bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com.

By accepting these Terms during registration or otherwise using the Services after being presented with these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of an employer, customer, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf and, where applicable, bind it to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement to use the Services.

2. What NetDoc Provides

NetDoc provides tools for creating, organizing, managing, and exporting network and telecommunications documentation.

Available features may include documentation of projects, buildings, rooms, racks, devices, patch panels, ports, connections, outlets, VLANs, photographs, notes, and related information.

You may use NetDoc for your own projects, your organization’s work, and documentation services provided to customers who have authorized that use.

NetDoc is a documentation tool. It does not independently inspect installations, test cables, verify network operation, or certify compliance with laws, codes, industry standards, or customer requirements.

You are responsible for checking documentation against the physical installation and performing any required inspections, testing, and professional review.

3. Free Service

NetDoc is currently provided free of charge. No payment is required to use the currently available free Services.

We may change available features or introduce optional paid services in the future. If we do, we will disclose the applicable prices and conditions before you enroll.

Using the free Services does not authorize future charges. We will not enroll you in a paid service or charge you without your affirmative agreement.

4. Accounts and Account Security

You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your account information current.

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and managing access you authorize. Do not share credentials when another person can use their own account through the collaboration features.

You must promptly notify us at bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts using fraudulent information, or access another person’s account without permission.

You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. This provision does not excuse our own failure to meet obligations imposed by applicable law.

5. Permission to Use the Services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and use the Services for their intended purposes.

You may create documentation for your business or customers and export, reproduce, and share that documentation with authorized recipients.

This permission does not authorize you to sell access to NetDoc, redistribute its software, or represent that you own the Services.

Except as permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized in writing, you may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, or reverse engineer the software underlying the Services.

6. NetDoc Intellectual Property

As between you and the Company, the Company and its licensors retain their respective rights in the software, interface, branding, designs, and other materials provided as part of the Services, excluding Customer Data.

These Terms do not give you ownership of NetDoc’s software, name, logos, or other protected materials.

Third-party names, products, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. References to them do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

7. Ownership of Your Documentation

“Customer Data” means information and materials you or your authorized collaborators enter, upload, or create through the Services, including project records, network documentation, connection mappings, photographs, layouts, labels, and notes.

As between you and NetDoc, you retain your rights in Customer Data. These Terms do not change ownership rights held by your employer, customers, collaborators, or other third parties.

You grant us a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, and display Customer Data as reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate and maintain the Services.
  • Carry out your instructions, including collaboration and exports.
  • Provide support and resolve technical problems.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Services.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers acting on our behalf may process Customer Data for these purposes.

This license does not give us permission to sell your private project documentation, publish it as advertising, or use your company’s or customer’s name or logo in marketing without separate authorization.

8. Private Projects and Collaboration

Projects are private by default and are not made available to other users unless you grant access through the collaboration features.

When you use Collaborate, you authorize the selected user to access the project information made available through that feature. Their ability to view or change information depends on the permissions provided by the Services.

You are responsible for choosing collaborators and ensuring you have permission to share the relevant information.

You may revoke a collaborator’s permission. Once revoked, that user will no longer have access to the affected project through that permission.

Revoking permission does not erase information a collaborator previously downloaded, exported, copied, or captured outside the Services.

Collaborators may use shared information only within the authorization given to them and must respect applicable confidentiality, intellectual property, and privacy obligations.

Project privacy does not prevent access by NetDoc or its service providers when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or support the Services or comply with law.

9. Your Responsibilities for Customer Data

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, manage, and share Customer Data.

Before uploading an employer’s or customer’s information, you are responsible for obtaining any required authorization to store it in an externally hosted application.

You must not upload information in violation of a confidentiality agreement, customer restriction, or applicable law.

Do not use NetDoc to store passwords, private encryption keys, authentication tokens, payment-card information, or similar credentials unless a feature is expressly designed and documented for that purpose.

Do not submit protected health information or other regulated information that requires specialized contractual or security arrangements unless we have expressly agreed in writing to support those requirements.

Using NetDoc does not establish that your organization or project complies with any regulatory framework.

10. Privacy and Service Providers

NetDoc uses Base44 to build and host the Services.

We and the service providers supporting NetDoc process information as needed to provide the Services and for other purposes accurately disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

Our separate Privacy Policy explains our collection, use, disclosure, and handling of personal information. These Terms do not replace that policy or waive privacy rights provided by law.

We will use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we process. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

We will not publicly disclose private Customer Data except at your direction, with your permission, or where disclosure is legally required. Access by service providers must be limited to legitimate service-related purposes and subject to appropriate protections.

Questions or requests concerning privacy may be sent to bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your NetDoc account through:

Settings → User Settings

You may also request account deletion by emailing:

bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com

Deleting your account deletes your account and its associated project data from NetDoc. This includes projects you own and their associated documentation.

Deleting your account does not delete projects owned by other users merely because you collaborated on them.

We may reasonably verify your identity before completing an emailed deletion request to prevent unauthorized deletion.

Before deleting your account, export any documentation you wish to retain. You should treat account deletion as permanent.

Deletion does not remove copies that you or authorized collaborators previously downloaded, exported, or otherwise saved outside NetDoc.

We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this section requires deletion of information that we are legally required to retain.

Uninstalling the application from your device does not itself delete your account.

12. Exports and Your Copies

NetDoc provides documentation export features as available within the Services.

The information included in an export depends on the feature and format used. An export may not contain every attachment, setting, history item, or other piece of account information.

You are responsible for reviewing exported files for accuracy and completeness before using them as customer deliverables or independent copies of your records.

Maintain separate copies of important documentation. NetDoc is not a substitute for your organization’s recordkeeping, retention, or disaster-recovery procedures.

This responsibility does not eliminate duties we have under applicable law.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
  • Access accounts, projects, systems, or information without authorization.
  • Upload information that violates another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights.
  • Introduce malware or interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
  • Bypass access controls or technical restrictions.
  • Use unauthorized automation to extract private information or place an unreasonable burden on the Services.
  • Threaten, harass, or abuse users or support personnel.
  • Use the Services to distribute spam or unlawful content.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with NetDoc.
  • Sell or transfer access to an account without our written authorization.

These restrictions do not prohibit honest reviews, lawful criticism, authorized accessibility tools, or activities protected by applicable law.

You may report suspected misuse to bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com.

14. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about the Services, you give us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to improve or develop our products without an obligation to compensate or credit you.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your Customer Data or authorize us to disclose confidential information contained in a support request.

15. Documentation Accuracy and Safe Use

You are responsible for reviewing manually entered information and information produced or formatted through NetDoc’s tools.

Voice input and other assisted-entry features may misunderstand commands or produce incorrect entries. Verify device names, port numbers, connections, labels, and other details before relying on them.

Documentation generated using NetDoc does not establish that an installation complies with ANSI/TIA standards, BICSI practices, electrical or building codes, or contractual requirements.

Do not rely solely on NetDoc records when disconnecting equipment, modifying a live network, or performing work that could affect safety or operations. Use appropriate physical verification, testing, authorization, and professional judgment.

16. Third-Party Services

The Services may depend on third-party hosting, authentication, speech recognition, and other technology.

Optional third-party services or integrations may have their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing those terms when you choose to use them.

Availability and performance may be affected by your device, internet connection, browser, operating system, or a third-party provider.

Our use of third-party providers does not eliminate obligations we undertake in these Terms or obligations imposed by law.

If you obtain the application through an app store, applicable store terms also apply to your download and use of that store.

17. Service Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue features or the Services.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or error-free operation.

Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of permanent discontinuation or changes that materially affect access to stored project information and provide a reasonable opportunity to export that information.

Immediate changes or interruptions may be necessary to address security issues, technical failures, unlawful activity, or legal obligations.

Unless separately agreed in writing, these Terms do not establish a guaranteed uptime or support-response commitment.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:

  • A material violation of these Terms.
  • Unauthorized or unlawful activity.
  • A substantial security risk.
  • A legal requirement.
  • Discontinuation of the Services.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation before terminating access.

We may act immediately when necessary to protect users, information, or systems or comply with law.

Where legally and technically practicable, we will provide an opportunity to retrieve your Customer Data before permanently closing an account.

You may stop using the Services or delete your account as described in Section 11.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including ownership, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.

19. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe material available through NetDoc infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com.

Provide your contact information, identify the rights you claim, describe the disputed material, and explain where it can be located within the Services.

We may request additional information, restrict access to disputed material, and take appropriate action under applicable law.

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS COMMITMENTS IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT THE LAW PERMITS SUCH DISCLAIMERS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY PROJECT, OR THAT DOCUMENTATION WILL BE ACCURATE WITHOUT YOUR REVIEW.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES A WARRANTY, DUTY, OR RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

21. Limitations of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BRIDGEWAY COMMUNICATIONS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE FREE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR LIABILITY THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW TO BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS WAIVES NONWAIVABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS OR REMEDIES.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Texas law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Before bringing a lawsuit, you and the Company agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after written notice.

Send notices of disputes to bridgeway@bridgewaycomm.com, with a description of the issue and the resolution requested.

This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent court relief, bringing an eligible small-claims action, reporting an issue to a government agency, or filing an action necessary to preserve a legal deadline.

Unless applicable law requires or permits a different forum that cannot be waived, court proceedings will be brought in the state courts located in Montgomery County, Texas, or the federal court with jurisdiction over that county.

These Terms do not require binding arbitration and do not impose a class-action waiver.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections or venue rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, our operations, or applicable law.

We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes through the Services or email before they become effective where reasonably practicable. Changes needed to address urgent legal or security matters may take effect sooner where permitted by law.

Changes apply prospectively. We will obtain additional consent where required.

If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the Services and delete your account. Continued use following notice and the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.

24. Electronic Communications

We may communicate with you electronically through the Services or the email address associated with your account.

You agree to receive service-related communications electronically to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.

Acceptance of these Terms is not consent to marketing communications where separate consent is required.

Nothing in this section waives legally required electronic-consent procedures or rights to receive records in another format.

25. General Provisions

These Terms and any separately signed agreement between you and the Company govern your use of the Services. A separately signed agreement controls to the extent it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

We may transfer this agreement as part of a merger, reorganization, or sale of the business, provided the successor assumes the obligations under it and the transfer complies with applicable law.

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

These Terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship.
